Jumpy’s Adventure1 (WINNER of the $30 STEAM voucher)13.2“great game play and game design”

“could’ve elaborated more on how the story started at the” start of the game

“In the castle, you can get soft-locked in areas when platforming because platforms were unreachable.”

“Very cool with all the sprites. Very nice UI oso”

“good and interesting game, could’ve made the space part a bit longer and with stages instead.”
Impossible Parkour29.6“i completed it and now my fingers hurt . overall this game is cool and annoying but i have alot of fun ya”

“The thing is that it is too hard and also when the falling platform falls, then i cannot get back up again :(“

“No collectibles, platform movement was too fast and the game was basically W spamming. dropping platforms also did not respawn after dying”
Holly Put the Kettle On38.6“i really liked the multi-level gameplay and the deatheffects that really stood out from the other teams , although the game is simple but the graphics are great . overall good death effects”

“Not sure what the collectibles did, not sure if it was intentional or not but the sprite was too big for this platforming thus sprite kept clipping into platforms and could not jump, spaces were too tight. Gravity was whack and not timed well with the platforms, so when platforms were moving down, sprite kept falling because gravity was slower than the platform. In the worst-case scenario, it is basically a copy of the baseline but playability was worse. Kudos for trying to make it challenging tho, even if it was frustrating at times. Good rage game.”
Santa38.6“The camera moves together with the sprite, thus making the game a little disorientating and might make people with motion sickness nauseous. Movement was a little too fast and did not have any enemies or obstacles, just moving platforms”

“first off , the sound was very sharp and loud but has the mario playstyle vibe which i like , really like how you could add the trail(totally knew how to do that) and i though the beginning was really boring until i came to the second floor which was way more exciting . but could speedrun it within 8 seconds . overall great work on the game but poor title (sorry guys)”

Run from Sgt.47.4“is there a way to restart the game other than refreshing the page? other than that, it was pretty decent. I especially liked the decoration/design however.”

“A bit too hard becos the parrot is very annoying”

“the enemy is super annoying man. i think this game could’ve had some potential if there was a time limit and multiple levels to play. overall improve on the enemies and expand the levels to make it more enjoyable”
Who Says Penguins Cant Fly56.4“i think it should have it all because i was unable to make it to the end”

“just wanna say good job and i like how wehave to find our way of going through the level and not just going straight . overall maybe added a few enemies or time limit to make the game more exciting”
Holidays64.25“Not sure what the collectibles did, not sure if it was intentional or not but the sprite was too big for this platforming thus sprite kept clipping into platforms and could not jump, spaces were too tight. Gravity was whack and not timed well with the platforms, so when platforms were moving down, sprite kept falling because gravity was slower than the platform. HolidaysGood concept and attempt at using various game mechanics – invisible platforms, falling enemies, collectible, etc.

Some bugs made parts of the game too hard, for instance the collectible doesn’t re-appear after dying (if you already consumed it). We doubt if any of the CCA judges made it to the second level/holiday. Agree with comment about player too big, physics too wonky. Probably shouldn’t have used the instruction baseline too closely.
Impossible ParkourAlthough it started with GDevelop template items, the platforms were quite off-beat and though the game is quite hard, it is possible to beat it, which feels good.

One major bug was that the falling platforms in level 1 do not regenerate after death, so you need to restart the game to try again. That may have caused people to lose interest, or the game to lose points.

Incredible that despite this, people reported finishing – I guess it’s a testament to how otherwise playable and addictive the game was.
Jumpy’s AdventureThe game allowed the designer and player to explore various game mechanics moving from platformer to puzzle to 2D space shooter.

It was by far the most complete game with starting screen, cut scenes, and more stylistic details, like the vibrating chains.

We found the fist few levels a bit too easy due to direction signs. The bug where if you don’t go to the right direction you have to force-restart the game could’ve been a major disaster were it not for the overly obvious directions not allowing players to experience that issue unless they’re explorers.
